Well folks it's Sunday and Kelly and I have been working our behinds off since last check in. I haven't had the time to properly blog for this TNT thing. Sorry for that.

Kelly and I have lost a tremendous amount of weight between us. We now run 4 to 5 days a week and are both of us training for the Savannah 1/2 marathon in Nov. Just 1 more week and we will be done with the TNT program and will be off to cultivate our new lives on our own. We are a team and have one another for encouragement but we also have a great core of new friends that we love and love to hang out with.

Well home from the Y this evening and I'm beat! I went to the Total Body Conditioning class taught by Chad Griffith this evening and it "Kicked" my but! I am getting better at the exercises but it's still tough. This week has seemed a little tougher anyway and with these extra classes i just feel like I haven't gained a thing. I do know better but psychologically it's even tougher. I'm trying to keep my "eye on the prize" as it were and think only about my long term goal but, wow, it's taking a lot to stay motivated. Tough workout in the am tomorrow so "Think Strong"!!!

Ok! So now I'm going to try and blog on our progress for TNT (Transformation Nation Triad). Kelly and I are at the half way point in the 16 week program. This morning we attended a mass aerobics class for the WXII new cast at the Wilkes Family YMCA. It was fun but not nearly the workout I had hoped. Parts were really tough. Other parts were kind of coasting.

I am training for the untimate goal of competing in the spartan trifecta next yeat. This race consists of a distance run with a number of obsticals to conquer throughout the course. The races are designed not just for endurace but to push the limits of your overall fitness! I'm really excited to participate in this.

Kelly and myself are going to celebrate our completion of the TNT program by running in the Marine Mud Run on the 2nd of June this year. This is an obstical course race but not as intense as the spartan race. The proceeds go to support the Wounded Warrior program and Toys For Tots.
